Do we use “cookies”?
Yes. When you use our Platform, we (or our IT service providers) may obtain information using technologies such as cookies, tags, web beacons, and navigational data collection (log files, server logs, and clickstream data) to better understand your user experience. For example, we may collect information like the date, time and duration of visits, which webpages are accessed and which external links are activated, or which parts of the Platform you use.
Cookies provide us with an insight into your user experience, which we may use to better understand what Services may be of interest to you and how our Services can be improved.
Will you receive direct marketing?
We will only use your information for direct marketing purposes where we have your consent to do so.
Our direct marketing messages and materials and those of any third parties whom we promote to you will contain a prominent statement that you may request not to receive direct marketing communications, and instructions on how to do so (including, for electronic messages, a functional unsubscribe facility).
You may choose to communicate with us anonymously or by using a pseudonym, however in some circumstances doing so may also affect our ability to provide our Services to you.
Do we share your information overseas?
Some of our service providers, and some of our users or their related bodies corporate may be based overseas. Because the Platform is cloud-based, some of your information may be stored on servers physically located overseas. In order to protect your information, we take care to work with entities and organisations whom we believe maintain an acceptable standard of data security compliance including by ensuring that the recipient of your information is subject to a law, or binding scheme, that has the effect (a) of protecting the information in a way that, overall, is at least substantially similar to the way in which the APPs protect the information, and (b) that there are mechanisms that you can access to take action to enforce that protection of the law or binding scheme.
